The Lincoln Community Center Traffic and Perking Update

New Traffic Configuration July 13, 2026

On July 13, Hutter Construction will begin Phase 2 of community center construction, which involves Hartwell parking lot site work. This work is scheduled to take 3 weeks, and during this time all traffic in and out of the Hartwell parking lot will occur in the Northern Entrance (the current entrance, furthest from the Hartwell Main Building).  There will be a limited number of parking spots available along the wooded/ grass side of the parking lot, and otherwise cars should park out on Ballfield Road.  Pedestrian access to the main entrances of Hartwell and Magic Garden will remain.  Please see our anticipated parking and access map attached.

On July 15th, Hutter will be excavating for new electrical conduits that will carry the permanent power to the new Community Center Building.  This is a routine excavation, and National Grid will have a supervisor on site to witness the excavation that occurs under the current gas line that feeds the Hartwell Building.  Although not expected, there may need to be a temporary shutdown of the gas line that feeds the Hartwell Main, leading to a temporary loss of hot water in the building.
